Intel has lifted the media ban on the i9-13900K intelligence, and the first gaming benchmarks of this new flagship CPU are already out. So, it’s time to see if the new Intel high-end CPUs can compete with AMD’s latest high-end Ryzen CPUs.
According to Guru3D, the Intel i9 13900K has a clear lead over the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X in Polar Howl: Breaking Dawn and Watch Dogs: Freedom Legion.
PC Games Hardware reports that the i9 13900K is also faster than the Ryzen 9 7950X in Doom: Eternal, Traitor 2077, and Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered. However, in some games, the R9 7950X is better, such as “F1 22” and “Assassin Mission 3”.
According to TechPowerUp, the i913900K also performed better in “Blood 2”, “CS GO” and “Battlefield 5”. The Ryzen 9 7950X is faster in Civilization VI.
