The test was conducted on an Intel 13th-generation platform compatible with DDR5 memory and XMP 3.0 technology. The hardware setup included an MSI MEG Z690I UNIFY motherboard, updated to its latest BIOS version 7D29v1D, and an Intel Core i9 13900K processor. The T-CREATE EXPERT DDR5 6400 MHz 32GB (2x16GB) memory was examined at both its preset JEDEC 4800 MHz and XMP Profile 6400 MHz settings, along with additional overclocking to assess read and write performance as well as latency.

Within the BIOS of the MSI MEG Z690I UNIFY motherboard, it was observed that the T-CREATE EXPERT DDR5 6400 MHz 32GB (2x16GB) memory has only a single XMP Profile option. The parameters for this XMP Profile 1 are DDR5-6400 with timings of CL 32-39-39-84 and a voltage of 1.35V. The JEDEC native frequency is set at 4800 MHz, and there is no EXPO parameter available.

CPU-Z was used to gather pertinent details about the memory modules. In the SPD (Serial Presence Detect) section, it was observed that the T-CREATE EXPERT DDR5 6400 MHz 32GB (2x16GB) employs SK Hynix memory chips. Additionally, these modules are certified for Intel’s latest XMP 3.0 one-click overclocking feature.


Initial tests were conducted using the JEDEC native clock settings at DDR5-4800 MHz with CL 40-40-40-77 timings. Using AIDA64, the read and write performances measured were 76,015 MB/s and 67,715 MB/s, respectively, with a latency of 89.5 ns.

Subsequently, the XMP Profile 1 setting of DDR5-6400 was activated. AIDA64 tests showed read and write speeds elevating to 101,816 MB/s and 87,293 MB/s, respectively, while latency decreased to 66.1 ns.

Beyond the preset XMP Profile, the author attempted further overclocking through the motherboard at various frequencies: DDR5-6666, 6800, 7000, 7200, 7400, 7600, 7800, and 8000 MHz. Frequencies higher than 8200 MHz were not supported in the motherboard’s self-test program. However, the author speculates that more experienced overclockers might be able to manually adjust settings for successful booting at these higher frequencies, leaving this as an area for overclocking enthusiasts to explore further.

The author overclocked to DDR5-8000 at the highest, and the results were Read 126.09 GB/s and Write 109.43 MB/s.

In the final phase, the XMP Profile 1 configuration was used to execute the AIDA64 system memory test, including a stability test under memory stress to gather temperature data. This was done on an open test platform without direct fan airflow. After 10 minutes of stress testing, the highest temperature recorded was 69.3°C.

It’s worth noting that the author used an ITX motherboard with only 2DIMM slots, resulting in the two memory modules being placed very close to each other. In typical use-case scenarios, additional airflow would usually pass over the memory modules to assist with cooling. Therefore, the temperature would likely be lower in most real-world conditions. This extreme test serves merely as a reference for enthusiasts.

The T-CREATE EXPERT DDR5 6400 MHz 32GB (2x16GB) memory diverges from the current mainstream with its non-RGB, matte texture. While it may not be as visually striking as the gaming-oriented T-FORCE series, it still caters to a specific customer base that appreciates its unique aesthetic.

Despite being marketed as part of the creator series, the T-CREATE EXPERT memory showcased impressive overclocking capabilities. The memory was successfully overclocked from its base DDR5-6400 MHz to as high as DDR5-8000 MHz, exceeding the author’s expectations. Currently, the T-CREATE EXPERT DDR5 series is available for purchase. The highest frequency on offer in retail channels goes up to 7200 MHz, and there’s an option to acquire a 96GB dual-channel kit. Those interested in high-performance memory might find this product worth considering.
